Kenya Missions

I (Marc) was blessed in February, 2009, to partner with Global Gospel Ministries (a Kenyan NGO) in training approximately 100 pastors throughout the country. The meetings covered evangelism, church planting, church multiplication, New Testament church practices, house church, leadership, marriage, parenting, the Great Commission, discipleship, leadership training, Kingdom expansion, obedience, and even end-times. On the last day, I did an open air meeting in a slum in Nairobi resulting in over a dozen salvations. They continued the meetings after I left with tremendous results.

The teaching was extraordinarily well-received. These folks love the Lord and were just very grateful to have been introduced to the simplicity of NT practices. They were under the false pretense that they needed to replicate traditional western church practices, which was hindering Kingdom expansion in their environment due to limited resources and a shortage of trained leaders. Those bottlenecks are now dissolving, thanks in part to your prayers and the financial contributions that many of you have already blessed us with. Thank you for your work in expanding the Kingdom.

Well, that is just the beginning of the story. The work that was done on this two-week trip was just a seed planted. The churches in Kenya will need on-going support and presence to gain the full benefit from the teachings that were shared. The Carriers feel that God is leading us to continue this work; the entire family is willing to go and we are patiently waiting for His plan to unfold.
